Kintaro
Kintaro emerged from the trees as well, his scent the only one exposed. He brought pillars of water from the ground, instantly freezing them to ice, solid and sturdy around him, like a cage, protecting him. He knew the mare could crack it, but in the time it would take her, he would be off running. He thought about what he would do next... whether to find out more about this strange mare or not...
For now he watched her through the ice pillers.
"I am Kintaro." he stated. He waited to see who would speak first, Africa or the mare.

(tiny post, gtg)
Lieara pushed ehr head forward, her fore-lock flicking into his eyes, running with water. She pushed his head away from hers and snorted. "Go protect your herd great leader, you have no hold over me. Be a king that you are, but I have no regard for rank. Kill me if you wish, but my respect is hard to win, I will stay with or without your permission." She spat. Her head jerked around again as a different voice sounded. "Kintaro? Greetings, element of water." She hissed, in a less 'how I wish you weren't king so I could harm you' voice and a more questioning voice. It was usal to give your name after someone has given you theirs, but silence grew as she kept her name to herself.

Africa laughed with a shake of his head "Staying here with or without permission? Well i'm sure that would easily be changed if i was to take that to offense, luckily for you i aint like that. Now if i see you misbehaving on my terra, i will gladly chase you out of here with glee, happy to give you a nip along the way." He snorted, turning as walking off smoothly, looking as if nothing bothered him. He paused, tucking his head to his chest as he shifted his eyes to look back at the mare, a smirk set upon his ace "So if i were you, you best stay on my good side for the rest of your stay." He chuckled, walking off into the trees again.

Lieara ignored the stally, but a sly smirk crept upon her maw. "Clearly you did not hear me correctly. I don't care if I'm on your good side or not, i don't care if you want to kill me, I won't take orders from you, so either kill me now, or leave me be, your rules do not bind me, and your threats do not effect me, I shall not run from anyone." She spat, she didn't dislike the stal;ly, even though she couldn't help it seaming that way, it was only because... ok. She was confuzed, face it, to come home and find your home settled by others is strange, and disturbing. And so, her mind automatically thinks, this 'leader' must have stolen it from her old alpha... or even worse.... But that she didn't dare to think of. For now, she just let the stally walk off, focusing now on what she should do. And who was this 'Kintaro' and should he be trusted....?

Kintaro Kintaro dropped the pillars. If this mare was to stay, he couldn't stay in a cage forever. Who knew how long she would stay? Death wasn't something he would face lightly, but he wouldn't show fear of it either. This mare was different, to leave one alliance just to come back to it later. Again he wondered if she was plotting something against the Torn...
He looked curiously at her.
"I have given my name, now give me yours stranger. I may not hear well, but I'm not stupid." he said in his steadiest voice, staring her down.

Saphire eyes flickered to the side, blue tinged coat wavered like the ripples of the ocean. Lieara tilted her head, her long, sea-foam mane drifting over her slanted, sucpicious eyes. "Call me Mist if you must know. But trust, is not something I give freely, it must be ernt." She hissed, her voice singing through the air like a dagger, although it's razor edge was dulled to a slightly softer tone. Mist... The name of a stray ghost element she had chanced upon at Conccer Lagoon. It was the first name she could think of, even though she detested the mare. She steadily walked forward, the water that swam obeadiantly at her hooves danced with her, the wind whistled through it in a mysterious, lonly melody. Her saphire eyes stared into his, rippling like the waves of the ocean, washing upon thick black shores of her eyelashes. Was this stallion to be trusted, or should she be wary....?

Kintaro Kintaro watched her move the water, and pooled a basin at his feet as well, in case he needed to defend himself at the last minute. He knew the others could probably tell he was fairly paranoid, he didn't doubt that if they were truly his enemies they would take advantage of that. However, he believed that Africa was a friend, but he had his doubts about this mare who called herself Mist.
"Do not worry, you are not the only one who does not give out trust easily. I only hope you will trust the current ones of this alliance, because this is not your homeland any longer. It is ours, and you would do well to treat it as such. Having said that..."-he turned to Africa-"I mean you no harm, nor do I wish to claim your herd or any of the mares or fillies within it. I hope you will not take offense in my presence, for this is my homeland as well, and there is no changing that. I mean neither of you any harm, though I will fight back if you try to maim me."
Kintaro waited for a response from either of the horses, meanwhile, he picked up water and made it spin in a sort of pinwheel, a mere object of entertainment as he waited for a reply.

Lieara did not move, although within herself, she was screaming. She loved this land tis true, but she did not belong here anymore, she was unwelcomed. The darks had not accepted nor denied her entrance, but she could see they were.... a little more then concerned about a mare who once belonged to torn, wondering their terra. The lights? The thought made her shudder. Living there would send her crazy. But then a though occured to her. It was not a plesent thought, and it struck her like a knife. She was not welcome, anywhere. She would never be safe in any terra, perhapse, now, she was a loner? Not loyal to a terra, a disdaned travller, shunned by the alliances. She smirked, she liked that. "Very well..." She hissed half-heartedly, her thoughts caught her up and seamed to take her away from the convosation.

Kintaro Kintaro watched the mare smirk, and it worried him. His pinwheel became larger, and he backed up a step. His ears swiveled towards his neck a bit, just enough for others to notice his anxiety. Africa hadn't spoken in a while, Kintaro wondered what was going on in his mind. Was he making a plan or letting the mare act first?
When the mare spoke, Kintaro jumped at the harsh tone he sensed in the vibrato of the sound. He pinned his ears back more violently now, and pulled his head so that it was perpendicular to the ground, flashing the mare an angry look. He leaned back subtly on his hinds, ready to spring if the mare made a move to harm him, or even Africa for that matter. He was willing to protect the Torn king, even if the stallion had threatened him previously. His pinwheel morphed into a mob of ice spheres , which he surrounded himself as well as Africa with. He wasn't about to allow himself or the king of his homeland die for the petty grudges this mare may be forming.

Lieara's eyes laughed at Kintaro, her dancing form seamed to quiver and she watched him. As her eyes grew calm the water that she was a part of seamed to grow still at her hooves. She looked around, but no lake presented itself to her. Walking herself to the center of the clearing she gracefully let her maw brush the ground. A strange song of missery and mystery forming in her mind, she called the water forth, pleading with it like she would a lover, for it was all she had left. As she coaxed it to the surface, a pond gathered at her hooves. She smirked, excited to have the feeling of it's caressing stroak creep up her fore-legs. It seamed to giggle and ripple as it shared with her this emotion, then it stilled and seamed to ice over as she sighed and relaxed entirly. As the pong grew larger and deeper, she ceased the flow and let some water run back into the earth. Although now the earth was thirsty for water she cept it from seeping back, laying herself in the water she burrying her ever-dry coat into the water. She let the water become apart of her again as she seamed to melt away, and all that was left was the large pond of water.

Kintaro
Kintaro twitched, watching the mares eyes. They had a strange look to them that told him that she was mocking him, or was trying to mock him in secret. He discarded the thought, not really caring what this stupid mare thought of him. One way or another, he would come out of this no different than he had been before this nomad wandered to this terra... or at least he hoped.
"If you are trying to mock me, know only that I am not stupid enough to care what a homeless mare thinks of me." Yes, he dared say it. He knew he could defend himself against this Mist, if that was her name. He didn't trust her, her eyes said too many bad things to him, sent him too many disturbing messages.
What was she anyway? She had stated that she was a dark, but was that where she wanted to be? Was it where she thought she should be? Or did she think that she should be here? In the torn terra where she once dwelled? By now she showed that she may or may not want to harm both him and Africa...
"I do not wish to harm you mare, but I will if you strike." He said, the chunks of deadly ice still hovering dangerously in the air around him.

Africa stood amongst the dense trees, watching both Kintaro and the mare. He shrugged a little along with a smile, he could see Kintaro seemed to be quite loyal, on Africa's part. Africa shook his mane, walking in the direction of where 'Mist' lay donw in the earth's water. He stood briefly 4 to 5 metres away, his body like the mist that hovered through the trees as he kept himself ghost, this time sticking to the ghostly figure rather than turning completely invisible. He raised an eyebrow, watching the two in secret, both to see what both were like along with not relaly having anything els eot do at the present time.

Kintaro
He sensed Africa, but paid no attention to the essence of the stallions scent. He was more concerned with the mare. This "Mist", as she called herself, seemed a more fitting name for one of Africa's nature than of her own... Whatever the case, she was strange and Kintaro was leery of her.
Kintaro stepped back once more, bringing the ice daggers farther in towards him, compacting them for a more deadly strike. If she saw this, surely she would back off... Wouldn't she?

The water swam as the stally tensed. It seamed to sing mockingly. Gently it raised itself up, and frose into white ice. This ice silently took the form of Lieara, standing inches from his ice daggars. She was like ice to the touch now, as if her slender, perfect form was made from it. As her mane blew in the wind you could see the ice crystles through it. This was her favourite form. Ignoring the hard ice pointed towards ehr she elaned closer to hm, her laughing eyes twinkling like rushing water. "My my my Kintaro... touchy?" She hissed. "Have you not heard of fun...? You are water element, like myself. What reasons do I have to harm you? Lighten up, enjoy yourself!" She laughed, her form melting into water and reapearing back where she was before, water pooling at her icey hooves. Her sudden change in temprement was surprising, for a thought had occured to her, and lightened her mood. She longed to go, but she couldn't leave just yet.... she'd never back down if this one decided to attack, but she needed to be elsewhere.... A smirk flickered across her maw.

Kintaro
Kintaro watched her, and lowered the daggers, melting them into glistening pools at his feet.
"As you wish. I will lower my weapons. I suppose you don't mean harm, though you cannot blame me for being wary can you? Who knows what types of strangers wander the Torn terra with no reason beside having no where else to wreak havoc?"
Having given in, he relaxed his form. He shook out his muscles and pricked his ears forward, flexing them out of their state of agitation. He was still slightly on guard though, being he still believed this mare to be a bit... off.
