( * Basic Rules )

o I understand that right now, your reading the rules. Which mean's your thinking of joining the site. ( We'd love you to ) So, I'll make this sweet and simple.

o Respect all the staff members. Especially the admins, who put a lot of there days and work into this site to get it where it is now.

o The post limit is 150 words. Just like every other site. It looks like we are asking for a lot, but we aren't. 150 words isn't much, swear on Awaken. I mean, we aren't one of those sites asking for above 500 words.

o Cussing is allowed. I've seen people trying to do a bad ass post for a dark, and there no cussing and they somehow find it hard. But. I honestly wont wanna see cussing in each line you type.

o Don't create anymore than one account. Unless you've lost your password, or username, then no, just no. We allow as many character's on one account as long as they are active. We don't enforce the " one character per account rule ".

( * Creations )

o When you create a character, make sure it's what you like to role-play. I've seen on other site's people try and join a character that wont stick to what it's generally like. Infact, it just shapes to become say, a crazed lovestruck character. Which obviously mean's it's not gonna go rampage and kill the entire island off.

o Be original, don't go and make a character that's basically some one elses, because they will probably go have a riot because you stole an idea that came exactly from there own mind.

o Follow the form that's in place. If it says " Over 70 words " i want to see it, over 70 words. And, try not to leave anything out if you chop and change the form. Because, i always seem to leave something out. So, i'm just giving you the heads up.

o Because, this is just a new site. I wont enforce the " Role-playing example " for your first character. Maybe sometime in the near future.

o After creating your character, I suggest you run to the " Database " so you can keep track of it. The Database is basically how you keep track of all your Equnies records. Like, Foals, Mates, Lands etc etc. Also, I would paste each characters form there, because after a period of time, it will be moved to the " Archives " for all old posts that are just clogging up the boards.

o Also. Join with only one Element. Okay?

( * Posting )

o You can post from any type of view. Because, some people have different ways they post, so, it's not such a big deal.

o Ditto the " 150 word " rule. All posts to be over, 150 words. It's not hard, honestly, you all do it without even noticing.

o Whatever you do. Do not god-mod, or power play. If say, your a overly massive shire, it would be ok to give a smaller horse a shove. But nothing like, " Igloo reared, his hoof striking the blow to the females face ". That's highly stupid, honestly.

o We all make spelling errors, or whatnot. Just like me, i do to. ( Now my computer checks every single word. Yep Yep ) But, there is a spell check on this site, and i'm not saying you have to use it. But, if it's a word, you can't spell, and it looks utterly un-readable, please, spell check it.

( * Other Elements and Mythical Horses )

o I understand, that you can only join with one Element. And that's because then you can earn the rest to become a Master. But, anyways. You can buy the rest of the Elements with the " Gems " you create while your posting. The elements can also happen while breeding to different elements together, in fact, you might be lucky enough to create a new element all together. Admins may also grant you more elements, so suck up to them ( hehe ).

o Did i mention, that this also has ' Mythical ' Horses. Yep Yep, well, as i was scanning through other sites, i realized you have to earn them in some way on them. Because, it gives people something to work for. So, here on Awaken, I've decided you have to buy them.

( * Fighting )

o When fighting, or challenging i've decided that you should role-play it out. Because, its fun and better to judge and practically, more fair. So now, Challenging is judged on The word count in your post, the description, and if you followed the rules correctly.

o I know that fighting is hard to not PP with. But, here's a good example of how to not Power-play, but still try and make the horse get the blow.
- " Igloo swung around, his apex stretching, maw open wide, trying to bite into the flesh of the foe "

See? and in the next post the role-play of the other horse can say. " Raah felt a sharp pain run through his hinds " <-- Indicating, Raah took the blow from Igloo.

o No horse is super-horse. So, dont dodge each attack, if has to get hurt some way or another. Your gonna have to deal with it.

o If your fighting for no reason ( making it a spar fight ) it wont be judged. But, please, indicate it's just a spar fight.

o Only Rockstar, or Jade will judge a fight. The two fighting Equine's have only 6 posts each before the fight ends.

( * Breeding )

o Mare's can go into heat whenever. I honestly don't think a limit will stop the player's with breeding there horses.

o Let's just say this. Posts having to do with forced breeding will be deleted. We frown upon it, because it makes the mares player kind of mad, and makes someone have to play another character, as well as more work for the mods and admins thanks to a person with a stallion character getting bored and running into a mare.

o Breeding takes place in " Amor Fields ". Please, follow the Breeding guide there so you don't break and major rules. The rules have been changed, and there is no longer graphic breeding, not that people did it anyway, but if a breeding happens, just say "And a foal is bred" or something of the sort.

o Breeding is an all round thing on Awaken. But, foals born during winter will be less likely to survive.

o Gordyluv handles foal stats, so send her a message if you breed a horse.

( * Claiming )

o A full on dark cannot claim the " Light " lands, just because all the dark and torns lands are gone. And, Vice Versa for each alliance.

o To claim a land, post in the board you which to claim and a staff member will accept it.

o Females can not claim a land. They can be in charge if the death of the Male Alpha happens. But otherwise no.
